This is not hatred. The British are no different: look at Ireland! The Brits are also responsible for Pakistan and Nigeria - where, when oil was discovered in the south, they built pipelines to the north so their friends the muslims could control it, abandoning the Igbo tribes on whose land the oil comes out of. Have you read about Toussaint L'Ouverture? Read some history, from as many viewpoints as you can. Then talk about "dredging up hatred".
