First results show landslide choosing separation in Sudan referendum - Telegraph

"A sweep of polling centres across southern Sudan reported that the lowest tally in favour of secession was 94.2 per cent.
Official results are not expected until early February, after counts from polling stations are collated at the regional and then national level.
Some ballot boxes from remote areas deep in southern Sudan's rural areas are still being transported to counting centres.
But in urban areas, results have already been posted.
In Lakes State, 298,216 of the 300,444 votes cast were for southern independence – 99.92 per cent of the total."
